With their long awaited debut, it became clear that Objections is not here to hold back anything really. The Leeds-based band is not afraid to use big gestures, sonic noise and shouting vocals, bringing noise punk in a new and exciting way. The three piece has a history in great bands, be it Bilge Pump, Nape Neck, Solanki etc. etc. And they bring their own influences with them, occupying their own space within the band and synergizing everything into a inventive and playful cohesive mass.

Their debut album Optimist Sizing was received with undivided applause and picked up by the underground critics, the punks and even got the Marc Riley stamp of approval. The record seems to reject all the boring rock cliche’s with the most basic set up of a guitar, a bass, a drumkit and a vocal mic. Enough ingredients to make a noisy bolt of excitement, that’s smart, aggressive, muscular and witty. With a live reputation to match their music, this will be the first time to catch them live in The Netherlands.
