Julia Sabaté
Julia Sabaté is a Spanish-Dutch artist who is rapidly making a name for herself on stage with her melodic pop, infused with influences from alternative electronic music. In her lyrics, she explores themes such as identity, doubt and growth. This personal resonance is inextricably linked to her background, which centres on the quest for balance between Spanish passion and Dutch pragmatism. She prefers to express her thoughts in Spanish.
Julia Sabaté feels most at home on stage. That is where everything comes together and she transforms her personal story into an intense, danceable live show, alongside the musicians with whom she writes and produces her music. She has already performed at venues such as AFAS Live, Melkweg and TivoliVredenburg, and played shows in Madrid and Bilbao. She also made an impression at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2024 with her energetic shows that effortlessly get the audience moving.
In the run-up to her debut album, due out in September 2026, Julia is releasing an EP this spring. Both releases will come together on stage when she performs in our Bovenzaal on 14 November.
