Jazzy Thursdays invites: Erik Köhl Trio with Eugenia Serra

Erik Köhl is back at contra! 

Erik is a Swedish drummer based in Amsterdam who, after completing his studies, has quickly begun to establish himself on the city’s jazz scene, performing extensively throughout the Netherlands. 

This time his trio is joined by vocalist Eugenia Serrais. After completing her studies in Barcelona and becoming an active part of the city’s jazz scene, the 23-year-old Valencian singer Eugenia Serra moved to Amsterdam, where she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Jazz Vocal Performance. During her time in Barcelona, Eugenia participated in numerous musical projects and collaborations with both emerging and established musicians, building a consistent presence in concerts and jam sessions across the city. With an expressive voice, Eugenia stands out for her interpretative sensitivity and for a musical approach that combines respect for tradition with a personal search for sound and storytelling. She continues to expand her musical training while exploring new influences within jazz and related genres. At the same time, she is developing her own artistic project as a bandleader, her compositions and artistic voice. “
