Isabèl Usher
‘Nobody Wants a Pop Star’, sings Isabèl Usher, but her sold-out club tours suggest otherwise. She was born in England and grew up in Assen. You can hear that UK dance background in her Dutchpop. On her second album, ‘Meisje Van Het Noorden’, she further puts her own stamp on it with energetic electronic productions that nod to British clubs. Her personal stories form the basis, even when the tempo really picks up.
Usher started out at the age of sixteen as a songwriter and vocalist on international dance tracks and went on to co-write platinum hits in the Dutch pop and hip-hop scene. She then began sharing her own songs and music on social media and quickly built up a large following. In 2023, she established herself as a prominent figure in the pop world with the track ‘Ik Kom Weer Thuis’, followed by her debut album ‘Astronaut’ in 2024. She has since performed at Lowlands and Paaspop and released the single ‘Spijt Komt Later’ with Kraantje Pappie. Following two sold-out club tours, she is now set to perform one of her biggest shows to date in our Main Hall.
