We have kind of lost count of the amount of times Indie in Town has graced, trashed, and helped clean up de Nieuwe Anita. But for the x’st amount of time; we so back. The promoter agency invites the local nose of the salmon (does that work?) Frok. and From2, bands that both saw the light only recently and we could not be more excited about. To complete the line up, they present British band Goodbye, who have recently released their debut EP ‘These Things Take Time’ and will destroy Last of the Dial 2 weeks later. Indie in Town will see it first. For a fun opening, smooth transitions and some top-notch-eat-your-heart-out indie bangers to close off the night, they have invited newly born dj duo Kaya & Eva to the booth. You might know the first from her beautiful, intimate set at Indie in Town Sexyland in 2025, but more likely from her recent shows at Grasnapolsky, Wilde Weide, Into the Great Wide Open and many more. Eva is a mystery, she usually wears sunglasses and all other info we have on her is highly classified. Oh, and one of them is under 160cm.

Goodbye (UK)
Goodbye create a sonic tapestry where Jangle, dream-pop and shoegaze threads are pulled from different corners, with The Sundays and Cocteau Twins brushing up against My Bloody Valentine and Stereolab harmonies colliding with percussion that owes more to Death Grips than any indie comfort zone. The result in a sound that feels familiar enough to sink into, but strange enough to stay with you: airy and gory, sweet and feral, with glittering guitars framing lyrics that cut straight to the bone.

We might sing each other’s memories as our own, or tell tall tales that feel very real. Either way, it will fit into a band. From 2 is an indie folk mutant in the form of five voices, collecting the melodies and memories of those about to rock.
