DTSTAMP:20260905T200150Z
DTSTART:20261009T160000Z
DESCRIPTION:Deur 20.00\, start 20.30. 12.5€ presale here\n[https://www.tick
	etview.nl/shop/stichtingdenieuweanita?eventID=8378]\, door 13.5\n\nLine up
	: From2\, Frok.\, Goodbye (UK)\n\nDJ: dj set by Kaya & Eva\n\nWe have kind
of lost count of the amount of times Indie in Town has graced\,\ntrashed\
, and helped clean up de Nieuwe Anita. But for the x’st amount of time\;\n
we so back. The promoter agency invites the local nose of the salmon (does
that\nwork?) Frok. and From2\, bands that both saw the light only recentl
y and we could\nnot be more excited about. To complete the line up\, they
present British band\nGoodbye\, who have recently released their debut EP
‘These Things Take Time’ and\nwill destroy Last of the Dial 2 weeks later.
Indie in Town will see it first.\nFor a fun opening\, smooth transitions
and some top-notch-eat-your-heart-out\nindie bangers to close off the nigh
t\, they have invited newly born dj duo Kaya &\nEva to the booth. You migh
t know the first from her beautiful\, intimate set at\nIndie in Town Sexyl
and in 2025\, but more likely from her recent shows at\nGrasnapolsky\, Wil
de Weide\, Into the Great Wide Open and many more. Eva is a\nmystery\, she
usually wears sunglasses and all other info we have on her is\nhighly cla
ssified. Oh\, and one of them is under 160cm.\n\nGoodbye (UK)\nGoodbye cre
ate a sonic tapestry where Jangle\, dream-pop and shoegaze threads are\npu
lled from different corners\, with The Sundays and Cocteau Twins brushing
up\nagainst My Bloody Valentine and Stereolab harmonies colliding with per
cussion\nthat owes more to Death Grips than any indie comfort zone. The re
sult in a sound\nthat feels familiar enough to sink into\, but strange eno
ugh to stay with you:\nairy and gory\, sweet and feral\, with glittering g
uitars framing lyrics that cut\nstraight to the bone.\n\nFrom2\nWe might s
ing each other’s memories as our own\, or tell tall tales that feel\nvery
real. Either way\, it will fit into a band. From 2 is an indie folk mutant
\nin the form of five voices\, collecting the melodies and memories of tho
	se about\nto rock.\n\nFrok\nSomewhere between post-sound and art-noise Fro
	k. swims in a puddle.\nFilled with chaotic energy\, social commentary and
a handful of songs.\nThey invite you to swim along and get lost in the noi
se.\n\nThe one and only DJ Duo Kaya & Eva will be DJing the rest of the ni
