Hot Chip

Exploring the space between electronic music, indie and pop since 2000

Since 2000, Hot Chip have explored the space between electronic music, pop and indie. The British five-piece, led by Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard, are known for their danceable beats, melodic synths and layered vocals. On their ninth album, 'A Long Way From Kansas', their sound takes on a rawer edge, blending distorted electronics with krautrock and punk influences, alongside contributions from Beth Ditto and Eddie Chacon. Against the backdrop of an unsettled world, Hot Chip search for connection and hope without losing sight of the dancefloor.
