Gloria de Oliveira | in collaboration with Sonic Nurse
Gloria de Oliveira is a German-Brazilian musician and multidisciplinary visual artist. Her music moves between dream pop, ethereal wave, dark ambient, shoegaze, and goth, with influences from folk, classical music, bossa nova, MPB, and Tropicália. After classical vocal training, she transitioned into acting, with roles in international productions such as Babylon Berlin and Christian Petzold’s Undine, before focusing entirely on music in recent years. Following her first releases in 2018 with the darkwave and synth-pop duo lovespells, de Oliveira released her self-produced debut album, Fascination, in 2020, featuring contributions from artists including Gudrun Gut, Box And The Twins, and Fragrance.
The Berlin-based artist released her second album, Oceans of Time, in late 2022 via Sacred Bones Records. The album was created in collaboration with Dean Hurley, David Lynch’s long-time sound designer, and was described by Loud & Quiet Magazine as an ‘ethereal gem’. Following the release, de Oliveira performed at festivals such as SXSW, Way Out West, Grauzone, Maifeld Derby, and Pop-Kultur Berlin. In addition, she has composed music for theater, film, and London Fashion Week. Her third album, The Lying Swans, produced by Randall Dunn and recorded in Iceland, New York, and Berlin, will be released on October 30, 2026, via La Double Vie and Cargo Records.
