Graphic designers are taking matters into their own hands. They are initiating projects that explore the discipline, raise urgent issues and create new networks. Due to cutbacks in culture, fewer opportunities, and the loss of support from established institutions, designers have started to organise themselves into all kinds of collaborative partnerships. Inspired by examples from the past they exert direct and indirect influence on the field. ‘It’s All Graphic’ looks back at historical examples, examines current practices, and looks to the future: how will designers continue to organise themselves in an ever-changing landscape?

fanfare is a laboratory, design studio and presentation space that explores different forms of communication through a critical lens. It initiates independent research trajectories that span the politics, sociology, and technological limitations of media development.
TTHQ is a series of miscellaneous events and exhibitions. TTHQ used to be organized in the front part of Team Thursday’s previous studio, together with Koen Taselaar. They currently moved to a new space, where they’ll continue TTHQ in a different form.

letterspace has been organizing monthly lectures on experimentation, innovation, and research in the field of typefaces since 2018. As organizers, they want to expand the traditional definitions of typeface (design) that are established in educational programs and institutions.
All Access Archive run by Özgür Deniz Koldaş and Minhu Jun, explores the various relationships within design and art. In addition to creating visual identities and websites for artists and institutions, Özgür and Minhu publishthe graphic design magazine irregular.
