Italian jazz trio performs highlights from Porgy & Bess and classic songs by George & Ira Gershwin

George Gershwin’s extraordinary musical world comes alive in this unique concert. From the iconic opera Porgy & Bess to timeless classics like A Foggy Day, Embraceable You and But Not for Me, melody and improvisation take center stage.

The Massimiliano Rolff Trio blends contemporary jazz writing with the orchestral and lyrical spirit of Gershwin’s music. Interplay, imaginative atmospheres, soul, swing, and vibrant improvisation create an unforgettable experience.

The concert features a suite from Porgy & Bess (including Ain’t Necessarily So, Summertime, I Loves You Porgy) alongside Gershwin’s greatest songs, all performed with a fresh and modern touch.
