Remember this? You’re existing in a world, with an endless dream under your arm, working a desk job just to get by. Well, what you do then? You rehearse in the evenings, live through late nights and restless mornings. But you get there — right in the middle of a journey that sometimes ends in disillusionment, often serves as an escape, and ultimately still leads to meaning. Meaning in the form of music. For friends Koen and Quinten, together known as FRIDAY, the sound of that music came together with influences of alternative folk, dream-pop, and indie-rock, shaped by gritty guitars that can be just as quiet as they are explosive. A bit like beaches at sunrise: caught between day and night. Pretty dynamic, but mostly just a little dark.
