Freqy Rhythm is een platenlabel en evenementenreeks voor de LGBTQI+-gemeenschap en iedereen die van hen houdt, van Australië tot de rest van de wereld. Het label biedt artiesten een platform waar ze zichzelf kunnen zijn en hun persoonlijke stijl kunnen laten zien.

Dit jaar brengt het team queer muziek en kunst samen voor ADE, in samenwerking met locatie Studio/K. Hoogtepunten zijn onder meer een audiovisuele performance in de bioscoop door de Britse Manami, in samenwerking met de Australische filmmaker Gianna Mazzeo en beeldend kunstenaar Inés Maestre.

Studio/K opende zijn deuren in 2007 en bevindt zich in het multiculturele oosten van Amsterdam. Het monumentale, eeuwenoude schoolgebouw werd omgebouwd tot een bioscoop, nachtclub, restaurant en bar. Dit alles wordt volledig en uitsluitend gerund door studenten.

Freqy Rhythm, dat queer muziek en kunst samenbrengt – met boekingen die zijn geïnspireerd door elke unieke ruimte die ze gebruiken – heeft een speciale showcase in petto.

Het evenement loopt van 16.00 uur tot 02.00 uur en maakt optimaal gebruik van de locatie voor een programma dat van ’s ochtends tot ’s avonds duurt. Hoewel het dag- en avondprogramma plaats biedt aan veel bezoekers, heeft de AV-show een beperkte capaciteit. Koop een ticket voor The AV Show of voor zowel het avondprogramma als The AV Show om teleurstelling te voorkomen.

Freqy Rhythm is a record label and event series for the LGBTQI+ community and those who love them, from Australia to the world. The label provides a platform for artists to be unapologetically themselves and showcase their personal style.

This year the team is bringing queer music and art together for ADE, in partnership with venue Studio/K. Highlights include an AV performance in the cinema by UK-based Manami, in collaboration with Australian filmmaker Gianna Mazzeo and visual artist Inés Maestre.

Having opened its doors in 2007, Studio/K is located in Amsterdam’s multicultural East side. The monumental, century-old school building was transformed into a cinema, nightclub, restaurant and bar. All of this is run completely and exclusively by students.

Freqy Rhythm, who brings queer music and arts together—with bookings inspired by each unique space they use—have a special showcase in store.

The event runs from 4pm to 2am and will make full use of the venue for a day-to-night programme. While the day and night programme can accommodate many attendees, the AV show has a limited capacity. Purchase a ticket for The AV Show or both the Night Programme + The AV Show to avoid missing out.
