Florrie
Jack-of-all-trades makes a comeback with second pop album

Florence Ellen Arnold, better known as Florrie, is an English pop singer-songwriter, drummer and model. Closely associated with the production company Xenomania, she has played live and on record for popular artists such as Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud and the Pet Shop Boys since joining as their in-house drummer in 2008. In 2010, she embarked on her solo career. She is now releasing her second album, ‘Magic For a While’. On the album, Florrie turns her attention to the chaos of modern life, the strange beauty of the passing of time and the difficulty of staying in the here and now whilst everything around you keeps moving. The album marks the latest chapter in a career that began in the early 2010s with Xenomania, when Florrie’s cult online releases established her as one of the influential underground pop figures of the time. As a drummer, she played on landmark hits such as ‘The Promise’, whilst writing songs for Girls Aloud and collaborating with artists including Kylie, MNEK, MØ, Tove Lo, The Gossip, Kaiser Chiefs, George Ezra and One Direction.
