Extraordinary Scenes concert by Antonio Villeroy

Celebrating 45 years of his career in 2026, Antonio Villeroy has traveled across much of the world, often preceded by his songs, recorded on his own albums as well as by more than 130 artists from different parts of the globe, performing in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, and Italian.
His frequent tours throughout Europe led him to move to Portugal, where he has lived since 2022. In 2025, Antonio premiered his new show, EXTRAORDINARY SCENES, in Lisbon, where he previews the songs from his upcoming album of the same name, currently in the recording phase.
The show has already toured several European and Brazilian cities, and on May 16, the singer-songwriter will take the stage at Teatro Munganga, presenting this performance in Amsterdam for the first time.

The guiding thread of this concert is a set of previously unreleased autobiographical songs, reflecting his personal life from childhood to the present day. They also serve as a portrait of a generation, which is why so many audience members feel an immediate connection to the performance.

In addition to the new songs, in the second part of the show Antonio revisits his hits—songs that have traveled the world both in his voice and in those of other artists, such as Seu Jorge, Ana Carolina, Maria Bethânia, Gal Costa, Mart’nalia, and John Legend, among others.

The show’s repertoire highlights new songs such as Abril Cinzento, Panelinha de Pressão, Eu Vi o Beethoven no Wolmer, and Língua Viva, as well as some of the composer’s greatest hits, including Pra Rua Me Levar, Amores Possíveis, São Sebastião, and Sinais de Fogo, among other works that have been featured in films and TV series.
