Experts by Experience in Conversation with Their Creditors

On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, ONSbank invites you to VOX-POP for a special roundtable event where a group of young experts by experience will conclude their final year.

Over the past few months, former ONSbank participants have been working on their personal development: they learned to share their experiences in a powerful and professional way. During this closing event, they will engage in conversation with their creditors and, guided by theater and radio producer Marjolein Frijling, explore the (psychological) impact of debt.

The roundtable discussion will focus on connection: how do we make the system more human and effective? How do we ensure that young people feel truly heard, and what does that require of professionals? Expect a conversation full of curiosity, insight, and sometimes confronting honesty: always with the goal of connecting, not judging.

About the debt programme "Fix your debts, start your future!"

Are you between 18 and 27 years old and in debt? Getting out of debt isn't easy, but it's certainly not impossible. The ONSbank Foundation can help. The programme lasts six months and is free for participants.

The evening will be an audiovisual experience that brings together personal stories, art, and social debate.
