What is Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam?
Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam is a conscious, alcohol‐free, dance journey where you are invited to move freely, reconnect with your body and feel part of a warm, open community. The recipe is simple: no shoes, no booze, no talking on the dance floor. Just great music, a safe space and a diverse crowd of dancers from all walks of life.
Who will be playing at this edition of Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam?
Kareem Raihani is an internationally loved Ecstatic Dance DJ and producer, known for his deep, shamanic and joyful sets that blend organic beats, world music and electronic sounds. He has been a long‐time guest at Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam XL editions and knows how to build a powerful musical journey that invites both wild expression and moments of stillness.
His XL Ecstatic Dance set at Pllek will be the heart of the evening, guiding you from the first beat to the final track in one continuous wave of sound, rhythm and emotion.

By ferry: Take the free NDSM ferry from Amsterdam Central Station and walk along the waterfront to Pllek.
By car: Parking in the area is free on Wendesdays after 19:00 (always check your parking app to be sure).
Guidelines
To preserve the Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam atmosphere, a few simple guidelines apply:

Dance barefoot – leave your shoes at the side of the floor.

No alcohol or drugs during the event.

No talking on the dance floor – connect through movement and eye contact instead.

Phones stay off the floor to keep everyone present; step outside the space if you need to use your phone.

Photographers may take a few quick promo shots, but creating a safe, respectful space is always the highest priority.
