Echoes of Antarctica

Echoes of Antarctica
Join us during the launch of the Antarctic Rights Alliance!

Antarctica is Earth’s last wild frontier. A living entity containing 80% of the world’s freshwater and regulating our global climate. Yet it remains voiceless in decisions that threatens her survival. The Antarctic Rights Alliance launches a revolutionary movement to recognise Antarctica as an autonomous being with inherent rights. This evening features Arian Müller’s piano performance alongside Antarctic imagery, followed by insights from Roberta Bosu and Jessica den Outer on why this declaration matters now more than ever. At the same time, this campaign invites us to look closer to home. The waters of the Netherlands, from the sea to our rivers and wetlands, also call for recognition as living systems with inherent rights. By linking Antarctica’s voice to the Dutch Rights of Nature movement, we underline a shared mission: protecting the waters that sustain us.
