Dystopian Fragments (shorts)
Step into a world fractured and distorted, where the familiar morphs into the unsettling. Dystopian Fragments presents five short films that explore the anxieties and realities of a world on the brink, or perhaps, already beyond it. It is a haunting exploration of isolation, memory, and the human spirit's resilience in the face of a world unravelling. Prepare to be immersed in visions that challenge your perceptions and linger long after the credits roll.
The program is curated by Rawy Films, a Berlin based collective of passionate filmmakers and cinephiles on a mission to cultivate a community around independent SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) films. We aim at scouting raw talents and untold stories, bringing them to life on the big screen through curating Pop-up Cinema events creating a space for community connection and discourse, cultural preservation, and artistic expression.
