We celebrate the season, the leaves are falling and animals and plants are going into winter mode. On 4 October it is World Animal Day, which is a fitting occasion to open people’s eyes to think beyond their pets and to celebrate all animals in their living environment.

During this edition, we place the emphasis on the rest these animals enter from October onwards, both on the water and on land. We explore how animals hibernate and answer the question of where animals go in winter and what they do. Art & imagination are wonderful tools to better understand animals (and plants) in this context.

Expect workshops where you can make something for animals yourself, go out on mini safaris where you learn about what lives in your neighbourhood, inspiring talks & documentaries, music and theatre. Programme to follow, keep an eye on this page...
