On August 23rd we open our street and celebrate summer at De Ceuvel! From 13:00 to 23:00 there’s a festive program with live music, workshops, kids’ activities, food and fun for young and old! And you can join in!
Expect creative surprises, a vinyl market and live music, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere in a unique spot in Noord.

Vinyls At The Gallery – VINYL MARKET
Location: Crossboat
“Vinyls At The Gallery” is all about celebrating vinyl culture, art and community, and we’re excited to bring a taste of that vibe to De Ceuvel.
We’re setting up a special pop‐up vinyl market. It will be a curated space featuring our favourite vendors offering a diverse selection of records to explore and dig through.
And to add a relaxed and groovy vibe, a talented DJ will be spinning funky vinyl live!
VINYL DJ’s at THE SECRET GARDEN
DSA
Location: Secret Garden
Born and raised on Gran Canaria but now based in Amsterdam. His love for electronic music began at age 13—an obsession that led to a large vinyl collection.
He’s passionate about music because it connects people and lets them escape their thoughts and routines for a while. Always in search of sounds that make people smile.
His musical selection starts with House and blends Minimal, Disco, Funky, Downtempo, Techno, Electro and Nu‐Disco, with influences from the 80s, 90s and early 00s. He has a diverse electronic music collection and tailors his sets to the energy of the crowd.
DJ RAFA BANGLASESH
Location: Secret Garden
Originally from the music city of Manchester, Rafa has a long‐standing love affair with music. His taste spans many genres and styles, but the common thread is: making people dance and lose themselves on the dance floor.
From classic 90s house to disco & funk, minimal and garage—with over 10 years of experience, he’s refined and perfected his taste and audience intuition.
In recent years he has focused on building his vinyl collection, searching for undiscovered gems. He runs his own record shop and digger’s paradise Rare Cut Gems, now with over 3000 records and growing.
Expect the unexpected.

DOO-BOP
Doo-bop’s (he/him) fascination with vinyl began in his early teens when he stumbled upon an old portable record player at a ‘vide grenier’ in the south of France. Since then, he’s spent countless hours every week digging through crates and expanding his record collection. His collection spans a wide spectrum of music, including obscure boogie, jazz-funk, space-disco, synth-fueled techno, new beat, electro and trance. However, it’s the records that defy easy classification that truly captivate him.

AmsterJam functions as a musical playground and meeting spot for musicians and audience alike. It’s described as a “musical campfire”: warming and connecting. Everyone is invited to play, enjoy, and dance. Bring your instrument and jam along!
AINT NO MOUNTAIN BOYS

From the flattest country in the world come the exciting, loud and altogether lovely music of the Appalachians. United by their shared love of Bluegrass music during the early months of the pandemic, the Ain’t No Mountain Boys have refined their mix of classic bluegrass (Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs), robust bluegrass (Tony Rice, J.D. Crowe), and modern acoustic music (Andrew Marlin, Billy Strings), with violin melodies, ballads and originals thrown in.
Besides playing their instruments to the sky, each member is a gifted singer and three- or four‐part harmonies feature prominently in their music.

Wiebke & Uri – musical world‐travelers from Amsterdam
We are Wiebke and Uri, a musical duo from Amsterdam and together for 12 years now – in life and on stage. As traveling musicians, we play wherever we can and share our love for music with the audience.
Now that I (Uri) have reached retirement age, I live modestly but enjoy life even more. I write and compose our repertoire, which blends many styles and influences. I perform my own songs all around the world.
This summer we have reunited and hope for more beautiful performances.
On Thursday August 7 we will also be performing at the Landjuweel Festival in Ruigoord—don’t miss it!

LIFESCRAPS

Lifescraps is a playful, exploratory, and slightly rebellious space to process memories, capture change, preserve individuality, and reuse both thoughts and materials. Together, we work — page by page — to explore past, present, and possible futures through sustainable scrapbooking and visual journaling, without any pressure to perform.
In our gatherings, clippings, receipts, and scraps become new stories: a magazine image turns into a diary, a torn receipt becomes a memory. We welcome anyone who wants to slow down, express themselves honestly, and revalue what’s been overlooked — both emotionally and materially.
The work is intentionally imperfect: messy, slow, and always evolving. It’s about making peace with the chaos, both inside and around us.
CLOTHING SHOP for Stichting Shirati

All proceeds from this pop‐up second‐hand clothing stall go to Stichting Shirati. About Stichting Shirati: Stichting Shirati works to improve healthcare in and around the district hospital “Shirati KMT Hospital” in Shirati, a small village in northwest Tanzania. Every year the foundation organizes a 300‐kilometre sponsored bike ride along Lake Victoria to raise money for their projects. This year Wenxin Lin is biking for Stichting Shirati! SHIATSU CHAIR MASSAGES

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of manual therapy and literally means: finger pressure. Using hands and fingers, the therapist applies pressure to energy pathways (meridians). In addition, stretches and gentle joint movements are also performed. Shiatsu stimulates the circulation of blood and oxygen, helping energy to flow freely again and improving complaints.
Before and during the treatment, a diagnosis is made on which the treatment is based.
The treatment lasts 20 min.
The treatment is done fully clothed, so it’s best to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
Shiatsu works preventively to help avoid illness and assists in reducing chronic complaints.
