Breathwork is an umbrella term for various breathing exercises in which conscious control of the breath is used to influence mental, emotional, or physical states. Breathing is one of the most underestimated powers of the body. Proper breathing has a significant effect on your overall well-being, can positively impact your immune system, and helps regulate stress and tension more effectively.
By focusing (with the right guidance) on correct breathing, you can enter an alternative state of consciousness—a natural ‘high.’ Breathwork is a natural medicine with a therapeutic effect, helping us reconnect with and experience our deeper selves. Through Breathwork, you come closer to yourself and strengthen your connection to your life energy.
Chris Wenker has extensive experience leading these Breathwork sessions. With a background as an exercise physiologist and physical coach in elite sports, he creates unique and effective breathing workshops.
