Rekken, opblazen, zweven, verbinden en... knallen!
In BALBALLOONA, een nieuwe dansproductie van Keren Levi | NeverLike, ontmoeten drie dansers elkaar voor het allereerst op het podium. In het begin hangt de lucht vol verlegenheid en onzekerheid – tot de ballonnen hun intrede doen en de sfeer langzaam veranderen. De dansers worden meegezogen in een speels feest van beweging en verbeelding met grote, felgekleurde ballonnen.
De ballonnen worden zowel danspartners als bruggen tussen de dansers en het publiek. Door spel, botsing en samenwerking worden grote thema’s als samenleven en het omarmen van verschillen tastbaar en licht. BALBALLOONA is een speelse reis van transformatie en verbinding, die het publiek uiteindelijk uitnodigt om mee te doen.

In BALBALLOONA, a new dance production by Keren Levi | NeverLike, three dancers meet on stage for the very first time. At first, the air is filled with shyness and uncertainty—until balloons are introduced, gradually transforming the atmosphere. The dancers are swapped into a playful celebration of movement and imagination with big, bright balloons. The balloons become both dance partners and bridges between dancers and audience. Through play, collision and collaboration, big themes like living together and embracing differences become tangible and light. BALBALLOONA is a playful journey of transformation and connection, and ultimately invites the audience to join in.
