offbeat amsterdam is a guide to Amsterdam's underground and alternative scene -- experimental gigs, independent film nights, poetry readings, vokus, raves, community dinners, theatre, political talks, and unusual art shows.

The calendar is updated daily, all listings are verified, and the editorial eye is neither neutral nor snobbish. If it's DIY, experimental, and alive, it probably belongs here.
