About the Workshop

Always wanted to start gardening but don’t have a garden? No problem. Discover how you can grow plants in shady spots and how terracotta pots can support healthy growth.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to grow plants in small spaces with limited light – for example, on your own windowsill. Through practical demonstrations and hands-on experience, you’ll learn how to get started at home and contribute to a more sustainable and greener living environment in Amsterdam-Noord.

Location

The workshops take place in the circular greenhouse at De Ceuvel. This inspiring learning environment is used to experiment with innovative ways to grow plants.

Preparation

No prior knowledge is required. The design of these workshops, combined with the experience of teacher Andrei, makes them accessible to anyone interested in home food growing and “getting their hands dirty.” We will provide gardening gloves, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please wear clothing that can get dirty.

This gardening workshop is part of a series of three. The workshops can be attended individually. Can’t make it this time? A new series will be offered after the summer.
