Would you like to learn more about the importance of biodiversity, the pressure we as humans put on ecosystems and which actions help to restore biodiversity? De Ceuvel and IVN Amsterdam are joining forces. Join this inspiring workshop and game in order learn about biodiversity in a fun and scientific way. The collage of maps and dialogue creates awareness, but most of all gives ‘tools’ to make a positive impact.

In the Biodiversity Collage workshop, you and your fellow players discover how biodiversity is constructed and what the main causes of biodiversity loss are. You will then discuss concrete actions to make positive impact. The workshop is based on the latest reports from the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).

During the workshop:

• Create an ecosystem together, and discover how human disturbance can throw the ecosystem out of balance
• Learn creatively about the 3 pillars of biodiversity and the main causes of biodiversity decline worldwide
• Share your questions, thoughts and feelings and engage with your peers about solutions and actions for a sustainable future

This workshop is for adults. The game takes 3-3,5 hours.
