Wildpluk Expeditie // HerfstOogst

Foraging and cooking together – enjoying the abundance of autumn. What can be found in nature during these months? Join us in the city’s green spaces, searching for hidden food. It’s always a surprise what we’ll find.
This morning, I’ll take you into the city’s green areas and teach you how to identify edible plants, which ones are safe to eat, and how to harvest them sustainably.
Back at De Ceuvel or in the Noorder IJplas, we’ll get culinary with what we’ve gathered – often cooking over an open fire.
That final part – the cooking – is the cherry on top! Cooking together gives you a real reason to forage during the walk. It also lowers the barrier to actually prepare something with wild greens, and it’s often special to taste the dishes and discover how ‘rich’ they can be.
(Note: we’ll prepare a tasting session, not a full meal!)
We work with the season and the moment, making each foraging session unique...
