The group Turfy Gang, consisting of seven students from Maarssen, kicked down the door of the music industry in 2021. They met through their hockey club and started making beats after matches — with surprisingly great results. Their music is a blend of Dutch hip-hop and pop, infused with house influences, a hefty dose of autotune, and lyrics full of sunny self-irony and humor.

Their positive energy and especially their relatable, student-like lyrics have since led to hit after hit including their #1 hit “Ushuaia” with Russo and “Padellen”, a track that quickly entered the Top 10 and became a huge TikTok sensation.
