'The Crime was Love' by Memic Project

Inspired by the figure of Pierrot, the eternal yearning for love, and the ache of not belonging, The Crime was Love emerges as the second chapter in the Wonder, Love series, a journey through the landscapes of melancholy, longing, and impossible love. This chapter follows two characters caught in a delicate dance between dream and reality. Engaged in a complex game, they find themselves trapped within the same dynamics, playing out endless variations of their desires and frustrations.

The Crime was Love merges music, dance, mime elements, and visual storytelling into a multilayered, immersive experience, echoing the magic of Les Enfants du Paradis and the curious world of Alice Through the Looking-Glass. Through tragedy, drama, and moments of humor, the narrative explores the emotional loops that arise in relationships. What happens when two souls unfold in a world where dreams and reality collide?

'(holy, holey, wholly)' by Rebecca Lillich Krüger

(holy, holey, wholly) is a self-strip tease, a spoken word negotiation of sexuality; a contemporary echo of Giuseppe Verdi's opera La Traviata, the solo marks Rebecca LK’s first spoken word work. A campy triptych of acts, the fictional story becomes a basis for challenging the honesty of desires and the need to be seen.

'W am I / extract' by Nunzia Picciallo

"W am I" is a performance, a container of questions, a body, a soul, a hybrid and fluid experience that continues to evolve over time. In this work, the 5 W (Who, What, Where, When, Why) are the questions that drive the creative process, which the artist explores with a transdisciplinary approach. Through sound composition, movement, and painting, W am I seeks a physicality and body that detaches from the rooted memory of the gender binarity in dance and form. Through its fluid and transformative expressions, W am I challenges the historical limitations placed on the body, allowing for a reimagining of identity beyond societal norms.

The pairing realised during the performance become part of the archive ‘resti’.
