ᴛʀᴀɴꜱᴀᴛʟᴀɴᴛɪᴄ ᴠᴏɪᴄᴇꜱ returns this fall, exploring Latin American women authors across generations through a feminist and queer lens.

The series consists of five biweekly poetry reading and writing sessions, held every other Thursday at 19:00 from October through early December. Hosted by OUTLINE in Amsterdam, the workshop culminates in a performative reading of participants' work at Perdu Bookstore.

We'll explore the work of five poets from Latin America: María Paz Guerrero (Colombia) on October 8, Susana Thénon (Argentina) on October 22, Angélica Freitas (Brazil) on November 5, Marosa di Giorgio (Uruguay) on November 19, and Mikeas Sánchez (Mexico) on December 3.

The workshop is conceived as a platform for poetic reciprocity, critical thinking, and empathy within and among our multi-tongued ecosystem. It seeks to cultivate nurturing yet honest feedback sessions, where intuitive structures of dialogue, insight and listening come into play.

No prior poetry experience required, just a curiosity about experimenting with collective writing practices and multiple Latin American poetic traditions.

The workshop is facilitated by Jimena Casas, an Argentine poet, teacher and literary programmer at Perdu in Amsterdam.

<3 The workshop fee is €220 per participant and includes all literary materials, all five sessions, and the end-of-workshop reading.
