Tramhaus
When you say Dutch post-punk, you say Tramhaus. With their explosive energy and hypnotic songs, this five-piece band has transformed countless concert venues into sweaty crowds over the years. But they’ve also made a name for themselves outside their home country. On their second album, *Blister*, the band reflects on the experiences of that rapid rise to fame. The trials of a clock-driven and sometimes grueling existence, in which they are constantly on the road, are palpable throughout the album. The relentless pressure of time and the expectations of others also resonate in the lyrics, in which singer Lukas Jansen says: “I’ve followed my heart for a long time,” only to conclude a few lines later: “I just agree with everything, to fit in.” But Tramhaus is a band that has the ability to absorb what life brings and to find a way through it together.
