Tiago Lageira /// CD Release ‘Every Petal Tells A Story’

Following the release of his new album ‘Every Petal Tells A Story’ on Challenge Records, Portuguese guitarist and composer Tiago Lageira brings his latest project to Munganga as part of the album release tour.

The album features seven original compositions and grew from a series of musical dialogues with six remarkable women. Through these intimate encounters, the music explores the meeting point between jazz, Brazilian influences and the Portuguese spirit of fado.

For this special concert, Lageira is joined by his trio and special guests, presenting music from the album alongside moments of improvisation and musical conversation. Rooted in storytelling, lyricism and connection, Every Petal Tells A Story invites the audience into a world where each composition reveals its own voice and perspective.

Winner of the Dutch television competition We Want More, performer at North Sea Jazz Festival and featured alongside Mariza on Portuguese national television, Tiago Lageira has established himself as a distinctive voice on the Dutch jazz scene.
