Phoenix Reborn was founded by Simon Chiola. He has been fascinated by heavy and power metal since a young age, and later studied opera at the conservatory to gain full control of his vocal range. He played in various tribute bands but could no longer resist the urge to release his own project. Not only is he a metal fan; he was also inspired by fantasy stories from a young age. This is how the idea for Phoenix Reborn's first concept album came about:
