Since their formation in 2004, Amsterdam-based band the Phantom Four have become one of the world’s most iconic instrumental groups. The band creates A danceable and sometimes dark sound that combines surf guitars with music genres from all over the world. The band has released multiple studio albums and singles and has collaborated live and in the studio with vocalists like rudeboy (urban dance squad) and has played notable festivals like lowlands, vive latino, paaspop, surfer joe, sjock, surf-o-rama and wild ‘o’ fest. The band has toured extensively through Europe, usa and Mexico. Over the years, the sound of the phantom four has evolved to danceable instrumental music with a dark edge. Phantom frank’s original arrangements bring together a wide array of styles, from psychedelic cumbia, afrobeat and middle-eastern folk music to classical, rock and electronic.
