The Mission

The Mission is a gothic-rock band from Leeds, formed in 1986 by former Sisters of Mercy members Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams. The current lineup features Hussey, Adams, Simon Hinkler, and Mike Kelly. With their dark, atmospheric sound and powerful live performances, they have built a loyal fanbase over the years. Their hit 'Tower of Strength' (1988) and ten studio albums mark a notable career. In 2027, they celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut album 'God's Own Medicine' with a European tour, their first since 2024. After sold-out shows and performances with The Cult, The Cure, and U2, they return to Paradiso.
