Minneapolis quartet celebrates 40th anniversary

The Jayhawks are celebrating their 40th anniversary at Paradiso this year. The quartet from Minneapolis, formed during the post-punk era alongside bands like The Replacements and Hüsker Dü, is renowned for their globally acclaimed blend of americana, country, folk, soul, Britpop, and rock ’n’ roll. Expect a show featuring a carefully curated selection from their eleven released albums, with tracks like 'Blue' and 'I’d Run Away' sure to be included. New music is also on the horizon, as 'Sanctuary Park', produced by Bob Ezrin (Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd), will be released later this year.
