Super Sonic Series is a six-month programme that brings thirteen artists together to create new music through collaboration, improvisation, and collective songwriting.
Beginning with a creative residency on Vlieland, each artist develops one original composition while continuing to collaborate across the entire project. The thirteen tracks will be released as a collaborative album on vinyl and digital platforms, accompanied by live performances at Into The Great Wide Open. Alongside the music, the creative process will be documented in a short film. More than a recording project, Series is an investment in artistic exchange, community, and the long-term development of a new generation of artists.
To mark the week of the vinyl release, we will host an exclusive listening session and Q&A with all the musicians at murmur on Thursday, November 19.
