There’s a real buzz in Amsterdam—musicians from around the world are flocking here to meet, create, and improvise together. Tonight, we bring you an exciting evening of adventurous music, featuring three distinct groups of remarkable young improvisers.

We begin with the powerful trio of Argentinian saxophonist Ada Rave, Slovenian pianist Kaja Draksler, and Korean drummer Sun-Mi Hong.

Next up is Tangerine, a duo featuring alto saxophonist Aviv Noam and pianist Danielle Friedman, blending nuance and intensity in equal measure.

We close the evening with a dynamic trio led by pianist Nico Chientaroli, with Omer Govreen on bass and Onno Govaert on drums.

Throughout the evening, Michael Moore will join in—and at some point, you’ll hear a musical tribute to Misha Mengelberg, in honour of his birthday.
