Inês Pereira, Lunch Break Stretch
A three-part work, where some things are missing from the very beginning.
There are holes, gaps, and fissures that stretch beyond what can be seen but can otherwise be felt. There are processes taking place simultaneously: an investigation, a digestion, a breathing; a drawing, a maquette, a dance; a mycoremediation, an association, a written text. Words become a concrete material that structures the gaps within, allowing every movement, taste, smell, and feeling.
Nadoe, Gun Shots and Olive Oil: A Prologue
Before the book and sound publication Gun Shots and Olive Oil, Nadoe releases a prologue.
“Where moonlight meets candlelight, revolution blossoms.”
This work is about love, insistently so.
The book traces poetry along the edges of language. In addition, the sound publication explores (non-)human voices, using sound as a way of taking up space.
Taking up space is necessary, they say.
