KURASHI 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Kurashi celebrates four years at Sissi’s with an all day celebration of music, community and culture.

Founded by friends from Curaçao, Kurashi brings together sounds from Latin America and the Caribbean. Expect DJs, live music, dance and food, with a large part of the event taking place outdoors.

The highlight is Tabanka, bringing live Cape Verdean funaná to the stage. The day starts with a baile funk and brega funk dance class, while Arepa Shop serves Venezuelan and Latin food throughout the event.

BAILE FUNK DANCE CLASS

The day starts with a baile funk dance class hosted by Brazilian dance teacher Anna Carolina Marques, focused on the baile funk moves currently taking over dancefloors and social media.

A special dance class ticket is required. Please arrive at the venue at 18:00 to attend.
