This Friday we’re combining house and hip-hop with a lineup featuring a mix of familiar and loved faces, as well as fresh young talent. Programmer Jan Koster wanted to capture the feeling of the nights that inspired him most when he got introduced to club culture and share a bit of his personal taste with you.

Skatecafe will be blasting with groovy and energetic house sets. The DJ and producer brothers Festen, who have grown up around music, will be sure to get you moving. After that, Amsterdam local Jacka will be joining Jan for a B2B set.

Her sets, inspired by her hometown and rooted in her love for new and classic progressive house, are filled with funky basslines and full of energy. We’ll end the night with Misa, who is known for her sets that blend a range of juke, jersey, bouncy basslines and Latin club tracks.

In Dick & Dick, we’ll be catching the nostalgic feeling of parties like BBQ in Bitterzoet and Appelsap. Think Migos’ music playing, people in soccer shirts with gold chains and a crowd that’s going crazy. It’s the way everything from music to fashion came together as a subculture back then that opened up a whole new world for Jan Koster.
