Sanguijuelas del Guadiana

Sanguijuelas de Guadiana is coming to Amsterdam. The band started as a music project between friends, Carlos, Juan and Victor, and grew out to one of Spain's most exciting music acts.

For Sanguijuelas de Guadiana, where they are from is an essential part of who they are as artists and life in rural Spain provides the very foundation of their distinctive and contemporary sound. The band's first album, 'Revolá', came out in 2025. A concept album tracing a generation's journey between city and village, depature and arrival, identity and belonging. With this album, Sanguijuelas de Guadiana performed almost 200 times, including two free shows at the prestigieuse Roman theatre of Mérida.

In 2027, Sanguijuelas de Guadiana enters a new chapter. The band is working on new music. Building on everything they have experienced with 'Revolá' while exploring new creative directions. And the band is set to go their first European tour, with a stop at Melkweg!
