SambaRoots plays in a traditional Roda de Samba – literally "samba circle" – where the musicians stay at ground level with the audience gathered around them.
No stage, no separation. Just an intimate circle that pulls you into its magnetic energy. Whenever SambaRoots starts playing, something shifts in the room. People are drawn in, the energy lifts, and suddenly you're part of a Brazilian-style celebration. This is the Brazilian way, drenched in African Roots and its history, Samba is sung from the heart, together with the audience dancing, laughing, singing and clapping shoulder to shoulder.
