Ron Cha, Joan Fort & Simon Osuna "Acoustic Trio''

Ronojit Chaliha, also known as Ron Cha, is a 27-year-old pianist, producer, composer and educator from Assam, India, currently based in Amsterdam. After 15 years of training in Western classical piano, Ron expanded into jazz, R&B and gospel music. He is the recipient of the first A.R. Rahman 100% Full Scholarship to Berklee College of Music.

Ron has toured across America, Europe and Asia, and is known for pioneering a fusion of Assamese folk music and jazz. Together with singer Kalpana Patowary, guitarist Lionel Loueke and drummer Ferenc Németh, he released the album Maati in May 2022. Ron performs regularly on the Dutch jazz scene and is also active as a film composer in the Netherlands.
