Ron Cha featuring Joan Fort and Simon Osuna

Ronojit Chaliha aka. Ron Cha is a 27 year old Pianist, Producer, Composer and Educator from Assam, India, currently based in Amsterdam. Ron has had a Western Classical Piano background for 15 years and then crossed over to Jazz, RnB and Gospel music. Ron is recipient of the 1st A.R. Rahman 100% Full Scholarship to Berklee College of Music. He has toured America, Europe and Asia and is a pioneer in fusing Assamese folk music and jazz along with singer Kalpana Patowary, guitarist Lionel Loueke and drummer Ferenc Nemeth. This unique album is titled Maati which was released globally in May, 2022. Ron performs regularly in the Dutch jazz scene and is also an active film composer in the Netherlands
