Rico

Rico turned his hobby into a full-time job with the rap group Opgezwolle, with whom he achieved many successes and received several awards, including the Gouden Grepen, State Awards, and a Zilveren Harp. In 2007, the group disbanded, and Rico continued working with his fellow rapper and friend Sticks.

To this day, Rico remains active in music, touring annually through various pop venues and theaters across the country. After Rated R (2021) and Frenk de Slak (a family hip-hop album/tour, 2023), he released a book in 2025, written by Job Hulsman.

In April 2026, he will drop his new self-titled album, which delves deeper into his personal journey of self-discovery. Naturally, a new tour will follow!
