REDD.
The 19-year-old Australian artist REDD. uses music as an outlet, sharing their identity with the world. What lies at the intersection of punk and hip-hop soon touches on something more personal: personal stories, self-exploration and the search for a place outside established social norms.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, REDD. taught themselves songwriting and production. That period laid the foundations for a sound in which punk energy, pop melodies and hip-hop influences intertwine. After uploading demos to triple j Unearthed, REDD. quickly made a name for themselves on the Australian music scene, leading to a deal with Island/Republic Records.
As a multi-instrumentalist and producer, REDD. is closely involved in the entire visual world surrounding their music and image. On the mixtape ‘RAUNCH.’, released in 2025, REDD. showcases a sound that is uninhibited and unconventional.
