Red Light Jazz: late night concert with the Christopher Pérez Quintet

Cristopher Pérez is a jazz saxophonist trained at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), where he completed his higher studies under the guidance of prominent musicians from the European scene. This year, he is furthering his education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, one of Europe’s leading institutions.

He has received several awards at both national and international levels. He is the winner of the First Prize from Juventudes Musicales de España with his personal project, the Cristopher Pérez Quartet, and he is also a member of the second ensemble ever to be awarded in the history of that same competition, consolidating his career both as a soloist and as an ensemble musician. Internationally, he was awarded Best Soloist (non-CVA category) at the prestigious Keep an Eye Jazz Award, held in the Netherlands.

Cristopher stands out for a personal, expressive, and constantly evolving voice, reflected both in his performance and his compositions, always seeking new languages within contemporary jazz.
