What: Volunteer afternoon focused on the Purifying Park at De Ceuvel

Who is it for: This activity is for adults who enjoy rolling up their sleeves outdoors and want to learn more about greenery, biodiversity, phytoremediation, and collectively caring for a healthy living environment.

When: 8 April, 6 May, 3 June, 1 July, 2 Sept, 7 Oct, 4 Nov

Times: 13:30 – 16:30

Purifying Park Afternoon! Will you join us?

De Ceuvel was built on an old shipyard with polluted soil. During the time we are here, we are working to clean the soil through plants (phytoremediation), while at the same time creating a pleasant green space! We do this not only for ourselves, but also for plants and animals. With low costs and lots of DIY.

Would you like to join? We would really appreciate it! We can use all the helping hands we can get to make it happen. Along the way, you can learn more about how phytoremediation and a Zoöp work. Together we do whatever is needed at that moment, such as pruning, sowing, taking soil samples, etc. At the end, we wrap up with a drink from us at the café.
