Popcontact is the ultimate hangout for everyone in and around the music industry. A free evening featuring panel discussions and live music, presented by the master’s students of the Pop Department at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

This edition of Popcontact focuses on the independent artist. Since the majority of artists are independent, and nowadays, besides being an artist, you also have to take on the roles of manager, promoter, producer, and label. It can be challenging to keep everything going in today’s climate. The great thing, however, is that these artists can rely on their community. Still, it’s not always easy to find the people who best match you as an artist.

On November 25th at 20:00, our panelists will discuss the struggles, hopes & dreams, and how you can best find your community. And who knows, you might even find your perfect match here.
