"Consent: Building Healthy Boundaries", mini-talk by Sude Sehitoglu, from YOUth ACT.
Hey, Iâm Sude (she/they)! Iâm passionate about exploring the intersection of consent, pleasure, and self-love. In my talk for the Playful Power workshop, Iâll be sharing my personal journey of learning what consent truly meansânot just as a boundary, but as a way to create space for mutual joy and connection.
Iâll talk about how discussing consent can be empowering, sexy, and crucial for building healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Plus, thereâs a quick activity to help us bring it all to life! đ« Canât wait to dive into this important conversation with you all! đ
"Deconstructing Body Standards: Media, Internal Bias and Commercialisation", workshop by Giorgia Salone, youth advocate from CHOICE For Youth and Sexuality.
In this interactive workshop, youâll be guided into understanding body representations, and the effects that beauty standards have on society. What are beauty standards? Is body positivity a solution to internalised biases? đ
Through discussions and activities, youâll be invited to reflect on your own biases towards body representation and the meaning of body positivity in our society. Youâll walk away with a deeper understanding of the societal influence on body image and a bias-free mind regarding body positivity. đ
"A Creative Deep Dive into your Sexuality" workshop by Shari Klein, founder of The Pleasure Society.
A creative and sensory workshop where youâll be guided in exploring your sexuality through writing and touch exercises. How do you like to be touched? What sensations bring you pleasure, and where are your boundaries? đ„
In this workshop, youâll be invited to explore these questions through creative writing, guided touch exercises (optional and fully consent-based), and playful curiosity. Youâll walk away with deeper self-awareness, a better understanding of your desires and limits, and maybe even a (love) letter to yourself. đ
