Phantom Wizard

Join the celebration of Phantom Wizard's second album release, titled 'One Of Many', at Melkweg.

Phantom Wizard is an Amsterdam-born and bred, composer and improviser, whose work breaks boundaries and looks at traditions in a new way. Rather than controlling sound, he attempts to guide it. Nurturing a space where multiple truths can coexist. This principle is the core of ‘Fribari’, a sonic philosophy.

Phantom Wizard blends natural soundscapes, the sounds of Afro-diasporic music, experimental electronics and the many ancient traditions sourced from the Surinamese melting pot.

Experience Phantom Wizard's newest album, 'One Of Many', on Friday November 27th at Melkweg.
